Granate is a typeface that harks back to the days of Constructivism. In the 1930s, every typeface tried to be as utilitarian and readable as possible. In this regard, Granate approaches the ideal by using a new approach to typography. In doing so, the typeface manages to retain its human face.
The unique character of the typeface is created by the openness of apertures, sharpness of apexes and the twisted geometricity. Granate is at home in body text and fully reveals its potential in jobbing composition.
Dynamic proportions and almost complete absence of contrast make Granate a universal workhorse. It combines perfectly with any graphics, looks great in interfaces, logos and on documents, websites and packaging.
